Independence Day of Ukraine marked with flag raising outside the Ministry for Foreign Affairs

“Today, on Ukraine’s Independence Day, as on every other day, Sweden stands firmly by your side. Our military, political and civil support to Ukraine remains steadfast. We also support Ukraine’s path towards future EU membership, an investment in peace and security in Ukraine and throughout Europe. Ukraine belongs in the European family,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard.
Ms Malmer Stenergard will take part in the commemoration to mark the Independence Day of Ukraine.
